This year's edition is a pale copper color and blend of Mourvèdre (60%), Cinsault, and Grenache. Tart cherries, grapefruit, minerals and herbes de Provence. Brisk and zippy. In true Bandol fashion it gains aromatic complexity after being opened. Refreshing and mouth watering, with great texture, something not often seen in Bandol. The wine finishes with a bristling acid backbone that amplifies its stony, dusty mineral undercurrent.
