This is a very beautiful red with currant and berry character. Very fine and polished tannins, too. The impact is just so polished and focused. Linear and exciting. A barrel sample but should be great.
Lots of bark, cherry, dried-flower and rose-stem aromas follow through to a medium-to full-bodied palate with firm tannins and a tight, chewy finish. Better after 2023.
