This is Nora Bunn. A smart, spirited, and strong 7-year-old girl, Nora faced life with courage and joy. She bravely battled DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma) - a rare, aggressive pediatric brain cancer for which there is currently no cure. Despite the challenges, Nora's light never dimmed. 

Nora's family did a lot of traveling in her final months, not only for treatment but to participate in research that might help doctors to develop better detection, treatments, and an eventual cure. In her memory, her parents have started the Nora's Sparkle of Love Project to raise money to help fund cutting-edge research and help provide resources for other families whose children are facing this devastating illness. 

A few months ago on a trip to Limerick Lane Winery, Nora's parents Brent and Jani teamed up with Jason Main of The Wine Merchant, Ande Pietoso of Cafe Napoli, Nancy Smith of Farina & Extra Virgin in KC, Ryan Sciara of Underdog Wines and Vita's Place in KC, and Bill Kniep of Pinnacle Imports to create a custom wine named in Nora's honor. The wine is available for sale at The Wine Merchant and several local restaurants.
