Crafted from Clairette and Bourboulenc, the 2023 Cotes du Rhone Lieu Dit Clavin Blanc evokes aromas of blanched almonds, white flowers, confit citron, spring flowers and ripe orchard fruits. Moderately weighted and juicy, it’s round and sappy with a delicate, mouthwatering finish. Despite its humble origins, it possesses qualities that could rival some white wine from Châteauneuf-du-Pape.
An attractive, scented and comforting white, showing dried pears, sliced apples, herbs, fennel and some dried lemons on the nose. This has medium body and volume on the palate. Delicious anise character to the bitter almonds, wild herbs and aromatic finish. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification.
The 2023 Côtes Du Rhône Clavin Blanc is terrific, with a rich, plush, opulent style in its buttered pear, toasted bread, and honeyed white flower notes. Medium to full-bodied, beautifully textured, and opulent, this ripe, sexy, satisfying effort will shine on the dinner table.
The 2023 Côtes-du-Rhône Blanc Clavin exhibits ripe pear, yellow apple, white peach and blossom nuances. Balanced by soft acidity and quite approachable even at this early stage, the 2023 is an easygoing white that should be consumed over the next two years.
