An elegant and creamy village Mercury that has good depth and excellent harmony, making it an ideal introduction to the chardonnays of the Cote Chalonnaise. Plenty of ripe-pear fruit and very nice, lemony freshness for the warm vintage. Very good length. Aged for 14 months in barrel with no new oak, then 23 months in stainless steel and bottled without filtration. From organically grown grapes. Drink or hold.
