A distinctly earthy nose reflects smoke and game nuances on the poached plum and wild berry scents. There is excellent size, weight and mid-palate density to the larger-scaled flavors that also display focused power on the mineral-driven and wonderfully persistent finish. This equally promising effort is a bit less youthfully austere finale. Good stuff provided you can cellar it appropriately.
