The 2018 Karthäuserhofberg Riesling GG is intense, ripe and concentrated and delivers what you might expect from a German Riesling Grand Cru: intensity, concentration and flinty terroir aromas. Round, smooth and elegant on the palate, this is a full-bodied and, due to the long lees aging, textured dry Riesling with a lovely oxidative touch on the nose and palate. Round and powerful yet still made by the "old" (rather: interim) regime around Julia Lübcke.
