The palate is full-bodied, firm and expressive, with plenty of accessible fruits and spicy nuances. As you continue to sip, you'll notice layers of bitter dark chocolate and black raspberry with savory notes before giving way to fine-grained tannins and succulent acidity. The finish shows precision with incredible length, offering a kiss of volatility with a touch of char. The wine aged for just over two years in 50% new French oak barrels.
