It is actually more complex than I presupposed. The palate is medium-bodied with crisp black fruit, fine grip and good structure toward the finish. This is an excellent Lalande de Pomerol.

Blueberries, blackberries and crushed stones with some violets. Medium body with firm tannins and a firm, savory finish. Rather linear and chewy now. Try it a year or two later. Better after 2021.
