Light lemony aromas trip daintily onto an energetic palate, with soft hints of yellow plum and a long crystalline finish showing complexity and length. This is a lovely young wine with good potential to gain further complexity with more time in bottle. The vines are planted on flint and the grapes are harvested by hand. Native yeasts are used for the cool fermentation. The 21-hectare Domaine Laporte was founded in 1850. In 1986 it became part of the Famille Bourgeois stable and it has been certified organic since 2013.
