The 2022 Beaujolais-Villages Poivre et Sel, aged for eight months on the lees in stainless steel tanks, presents with opulent notes of ripe black cherries, blackberries, sage, sweet soil notes and, naturally, a hint of cracked white pepper. It's medium to full-bodied with supple fruit on the entry and finely polished, uplifting tannins. This is well-balanced and, as previously described, "dangerously drinkable," while still providing complexity.
