A blend of 70% Grenache Noir, 20% Mourvèdre and 10% Syrah planted on four lieux-dits—Boislauzon, Les Brusquières, La Gardiole and Palestor—the 2022 Chateauneuf du Pape from Mas de Boislauzon reveals a delicate, spicy bouquet of dark cherries, dry thyme, licorice and garrigue. Medium-bodied, enveloping and charming, it's layered and round with structured tannins, a juicy core of fruit and a long, ripe, generous finish enhanced by gastronomic bitterness. Matured 10% in used barrels and 90% in concrete tanks, it offers a broad drinking window.
