The 2018 Pinot Noir Reiterpfad GG An den Achtmorgen opens with a clear, intense, refined, refreshing and elegant nose of licorice and cherries intertwined with iodine nuances. Full-bodied, rich and intense on the palate, this has a still youthful and tensile finish based on healthy and refreshing phenols and stimulating salinity. A very talented Pinot Noir that has been classified as GG for the first time, it is based on nine-year-old vines that survived a terribly dry and hot summer. However, the wine is not just rich and fleshy but also saline and fresh.
