Fermented in stainless steel, there's more and more purity in the unoaked Chardonnay from Gualtallary. The 2020 Proyecto Hermanas Chardonnay comes from early-harvested grapes after a challenging season (wind, hail and frost). It was bottled without malolactic to keep the freshness, and it shows austerity, freshness and subdued minerality. It has 13.2% alcohol and bright acidity coming through as pure and crystalline. It has a long and tasty, almost salty finish. This year they produced 2,500 bottles. It was bottled in August 2020.
